Lucky you! You've got a golden ticket... to get into one award show. With it comes a "guarantee" that you'll have the time of your life. At which door would you hand over the ticket?

I detest award shows.... here is the premise:

"You did your very easy, extremely high paying part time job correctly, here is a trophy." They should give awards like this to those people who really bust their behinds to do a great job at their blue or white collar professions... seriously, emergency response personnel, military personnel, people that work with animals, farmers, construction workers, accountants, funeral home workers, janitors, factory workers, etc... they all bust their hump daily for a check and no other appreciation and the work they do is about 1,000,000 times more important than the jobs of entertainers.

At least the ESPYs are for athletes, but I detest ESPN, so why would their award selection be any less large market biased?

I do not enjoy awards shows, too much self promotion and patting each other on the back. Also I have held an Oscar or two in my day which is good enough for me.

I know many in my family would get more out of it than me so I'd gladly give them the tickets.

No but they set it up all nice so we could get photos with them, and I think we got sake or champagne. Mini Oscars would have been a cool idea they did always give out good employee gifts.

The Grammys are a joke and I don't watch enough to appreciate the Emmys or Tonys. ESPYs was a tempting call but I'd rather see the athletes in action than in suits and ties. So it was Oscars by default, I guess.

Tough one. I love theater, so the Tonys would be tempting. I went with the Oscars, though.

I would loved to have been at the Grammy's a couple of years ago, though, when two of Madonna's dancers wore Kings jerseys for her performance (right there in LA). (At least one of the two was definitely from Sacramento, maybe both.)
