suprises so far

Jazz ( AK-47 maybe the real deal , young pg )
clipps (very good starting 5, will they realize they are the clipps)
wizards (well no frontcourt , new changes might catch up )
Bucks (young talented team , will they be able to forget about youth )

Are there surprises in the first two games? I mean, I think its funny that all of the BBall shows proclaim all these things at the beggining only to be completely wrong in the end (i.e. last year "The T-wolves will win the championship".)

Bucks. I knew they'd be better with the off-season they had, but I think I'm going to take them seriously as a top 8 team in the East. Likely become a team I watch a lot of, and will enjoy.

I think teams may have not been taking them seriously enough, but will soon, or now. ;)

wallace was definitely the surprise so far.... if he continues to play well.... wow....

Eh, Wallace's play doesn't surprise me at all; I've known that he was capable of this for some time, and I'm confident that, as the season goes along, he's going to at least average somewhere around 16/7, perhaps with as many as 2 stls a game.

What surprises me is how poorly Larry Hughes has been playing; he doesn't appear to have adjusted well to playing with James at all...

Clippers don't suprise me at all, adding Cat and Cassell to that lineup and you have a dangerous team. Cat had 27 and 12 last night... but he's no Bonzi Wells  ...Mark my words, the Clipps will make the playoffs.

yeah.... the clippers dont surprise me... you could tell that if that team can keep the score close at the end of the game that they could win just about anything with sam and cat taking the shots.... those are 2 serious pressure shooters....

I agree. But not sure on the playoffs yet, it's gonna be a battle for those 7/8 spots between a bunch of teams. They're certainly one of the better possibilities though. Certainly don't see Mavs/Rockets/Kings/Suns/Spurs/Nuggs falling down there.

What the Clippers really need to improve on is their bench, as apart from Singleton/(who has impressed me with his rebounding)/Ross/Wilcox/Ewing there isn't much. Even that isn't too good. No back-up swingmen for Mobley/Maggette, the closest being Ross who is 6'6", but 193 lbs, and then the rookie Korolev, who is 18. Singleton plays PF.

Don't know why they didn't keep Rodney White.

theres some suprises for u :(

They've played 2 more games than us also, and got their first win last night at Indy. Playing well through basically the whole game, excluding a few Pacer runs in the 2nd half.
