Summer League

I'd rather him run to the rim.

I wouldn't.

He's already shown he can rim run. But if he can't shoot, he's never getting on the floor. Its the difference for him being out of the league in 2 years vs being a 10 year pro. He's got to show he can play that "big wing" to stick. Otherwise he's just a small ball 5 that can't shoot.. which unless your draymond defensively, you aren't getting PT

Clifford is a Swiss army knife type player. He does everything well. I watched him in the Mountain West against Nevada.
Cardwell can play defense and so can Clifford.
The Kings are not so easy to recognize these days.

There doesn't appear to be any option of you want to record the SL games. ESPN doesn't have a record option and NBATV only offers their recap.
Hmm...DirectTV has the Kings vs Magic at 4:30 - 6:30 PM today on channel 216 NBATV. There is a replay at 7 PM on 654 FDFLHD.

ESPN has Spurs vs 76ers today available to tape.

Now, I don't subscribe to NBATV but sometimes get the feed for some reason. It is listed as being taped on my program listing but this is DirectTV so one never knows what will happen.

Maxine- future starting 4 or back up 5

Clifford-future starter or Swiss Army knife off the bench

IJ-long term answer at the 4 off the bench

Carter- Future starter, trade bait or elite defender off the bench

Cardwell- future 3rd big/energizer bunny

A lot of what ifs heading into summer. Would be cool if all 5 guys would pan out but the odds are not in our favor for that. Still, if for no reason other than size, this group has the best chance to be ancillary pieces out of many years of “hopeful swings”.

True. Given the lack of size on our team, any promise shown by Maxine, IJ, or Cardwell would be a huge plus. Carter and Clifford are not so critical from a position perspective, but can provide with the option of young, cheap guys who play defense, and give greater flexibility wrt trading current vets.
