Summer League Game 3 Quick and Exciting Grades

Casspi is worrying me, may have a ego problem, to the point where I think he can risk alienating himself. We heard rumblings last year, we "read" oversea papers suggesting something like that. I wouldnt be worried as much but when EVERYONE else in on the SL team is trying to work off Cousins (even 3rd year guy like Greene) Casspi seems to be fighting it.

At this point someone needs to talk to the guy, he could be heading down a dangerous path.

It's like he never scores exactly the same way twice, which is great that he has that array of weapons, but at some point he almost has too many options at his disposal. Eventually, there's something to be said for developing some bread and butter moves. I also get the impression that he understands his options and counters in a given position on more of an instinctual level. He may not know what he's going to do until he senses the opportunity and goes with the hook, or the turnaround, or the spin-move into a baseline drive, or the......etc.
Having watched quite a few of his college games, he does seem to have "bread & butter" moves. He really likes that baseline spin move, and also likes that little half hook shot when going into the middle. He just doesn't always use the same method to get to those finishes.

I completely agree. I think he gets so much fanfare from his home country that it may have gone a little bit to his head. It would really be too bad if he lets ego get in the way of the team. He has all the makeup to be a really great role player.
