This year the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas varied from its normal format of 5 pre-scheduled games during an 11 day run and created a hybrid format. Every team played 3 pre-scheduled games in the first 4 days. Then all 22 teams went into a single elimination tournament format. All teams were seeded 1-22. The top 10 got a bye the next day while the lower seeds 11-22 played each other (game 4). Winners then played the bye teams. Those losers then played the first days losers for their game 5. Winners then played a game 6 (quarter finals) and game 7 (semi finals). The two winners then played for the mythical championship, their game 8's.

Which format do you prefer:

having all games (5 or 6) pre-scheduled for specific times on specific dates throughout the 11 day summer league?

OR

playing a hybrid style of 3 pre-scheduled games then into a single elimination type tournament in which you don't know who is your 4 th game until the night before?

cast your vote for all to see. We will then input the results to the Summer League folks.

CLOSING THREAD. 75% LIKE THE OLD, PRE-SET SCHEDULE FOR SUMMER LEAGUE.

Easy answer for me, since I had pre-planned a trip to Vegas for the weekend and hoped to see a game while I was there. But the last-minute scheduling made arranging that outing difficult and I didn't go. Bring back the set schedule!

I think I prefer the old format. Much easier to plan a trip around a set schedule instead of and unknown one.
