STH Renewal

I got my renewal e mail today. They are essentially keeping prices static from what I can gather. Nothing it cut and dry exact with this, because of preseason and then there is a 1.41 per seat surcharge because of Capital Repair Fee, whatever the hell that is.

I am going to keep them, but just know I really don't want to!!!

My good friend and his friend are dumping their 4 lower level tickets. Finally. Probably got tired of our groups jabs at poker night.

Hey, we would get free tickets all the time, but lately none of our group was even taking the free tickets. So they made a business decision.

I’m happy cause that money my buddies are saving ensures that we’re going to Australia to see the 49ers next season.

So you consider verbal jabs bullying? Just curious…….
  1. I don't really like to deal in absolutes, and not all verbal jabs are created equally.
  2. I don't know that you and I have the same working definition of "verbal jabs."
So I guess my answer to your question, like it is with most similarly-worded questions is, it depends?

I would strongly consider noping out on tickets after a price increase this year. That's just tone deaf and they owe something to current ticket holders that endured the last two seasons even if they somehow got two top 5 picks next year.

But I'd never tell anyone else how to spend their money when it came to basketball tickets.

It takes a lot of nerve to keep asking customers to keep paying the same prices for this ****, which is only one of the reasons why I'm anti-tank. The very least they could do is take something off.

Carmichael Dave posted that prices should be the same as last year with some additional perks thrown in. If anyone sees higher prices for the same seats, he said to contact their sales rep.

Who was it that had $29 unlimited food and drink? All the hot dogs, chicken strips, popcorn, soda, and a few others you want, I think. May be another good idea to consider...

I think that may of been the Suns. I remember roasting them for offering all that junk to the fans

I saw a story today that had the St. Louis Cardinals offering that package for this upcoming season

Brother and several friends had been season ticket holders for several years, but they'd had enough this season - reportedly Kings org trying to couch food vouchers and store discounts as valuable and raised prices nominaly into next season apparently after trotting out the Kings worst season being in Sacramento......they'd had renough. I'd take it another step, cut back on time from it too........

I've never been a season ticket holder for any team, so just curious... if you give up your current tickets and want to purchase season tickets down the line, is there any sort of incremental seat license or fees that you'd need to pay to get back in?

Good question. There is no seat license fee, but I’m a 10 year+ STH at this point and I’m pretty sure I get more preferential pricing, but that might not be true. Regardless, my seats are kinda perfect. 2 rows in front jump like 30% in cost. I’m on the aisle. Very easy access after entering the arena. So if I dumped them and wanted back in, I don’t think I’d be able to replicate the situation I currently have.

That's the situation I'm in. Got the seats I want. On the isle, one row behind the club seats so I have the same leg room as the club. Thought about maybe moving to the top of the bowl, but its definately harder for me to see.
