there is no Ofensive Player of the Year award...why?....why defense?....i don't like players like b wallace or bowen.....no talent no skills only body....and over-over-overrated

There are quite a few players in this league that can consistently score 20+ points per game. There are very few players that can consistentlly hold these 20+ point scorers well below their scoring average, particularly defenders capable of defending multple positions.

When you have a player you can pretty much count on taking away an opponent's key scorer, one that the other team's offense largely revolves around, that defensive player is worth solid gold. Hardly overrated.

it was more like "the flavor of 8 weeks" nuggets. ya gotta give the team credit, man. they were playing some seriously good ball after the all star break. obviously, san antonio is a superior team. there's no doubt about it. but i dont expect denver to roll over and go away, either. that said, i still love rootin for an underdog, so go denver!

I respect how well the Nuggets played to close it out, but they're just not on the same level as the Spurs. I think there was a basic overreaction when they won Game 1 of people thinking the Spurs were in serious trouble.


I would like to see the Nuggets win, but I'm positive the Spurs will.

I dislike both teams equally, but if Nuggets win, Kings get homecourt in the 2nd round, so I'm rooting for them. This, of course, is assuming the Kings realize that the playoffs started already.

Oh, and I hate Robert Horry. Go Nuggets!
