As an aside, what the hell is up with a timeout down by 7 with 2 secs to go.
And its just one of those games that we showed up for on defense and rebouding, and the refs just want to blow the whistle because they dont expect us to stop anyone and vice versa with the Spurs, i mean they are too good of a defensive team for our players to get calls on when they get smacked down the lane...I'm sorry, we lead the league in FTs, and quite possibly flops. We have absolutely NO reason to ever be raising the "biased refs" argument around here this season.

Muss was drawing up the potential 7 point play
Why is that idiot calling a timeout ???
Is that in the 3rd or 4th edition of the Power Point Presentation?

Did he get that whole mess sorted out, then?
When are people going to quit trying to blame the officials for the Kings' mistakes?

. Either that or the Maloofs were back in town for some more national TV time and just sent Geoff to his room so they could free their boy back up.
He remembers seeing one when he was a ball boy.
When will fans grow the balls to stop excusing the officials for their mistakes?
The question is not "did we turn the ball over?" or "did we not play well?", the question is should the officials be a question at all? No they should not. If they are a question, then it's a problem. And guess what? No calls turn into turnovers just as well. Ask Duncan when he missed that layup.
Do you see me blaming the refs much on this forum? I take issue with it when it is an issue. We turned the ball over, but we outrebounded them. That evens out. You can't do everything perfect. The final law is that officials should be unnoticable parts of the game. Unfortunately the NBA is ruled more by unwritten rules than written rules.
Seriously, how can anyone excuse the refs of the NBA when they just decided to start calling a rule(traveling) that has been in the books for decades?
I have a big problem with people making excuses for refs, because that mentality has let the issue get to the point where it is now, where our NBA stars don't know how to play against the world because they're so use to being bailed out by NBA refs.
OUCH!
Sad, but very possibly true.
I wonder if Petrie is going to be around next year. Aldridge seems to think Portland is a big possibility for him.
