[Game] Spurs at Kings 3/28 7PM PST

I don't think anyone including Thomas really believes in the 'campaign'. Teams run phony campaigns for all individual trophies. It's dumb, but its not for us. Its for the casual fans to get tricked into believing someone is better or more important than they is. Mark Cuban has been tweeting and writing all about how Shawn Marion should be the DPOY.

I don't think it has anything to do with anything. But I do value your opinions .. I just disagree.

One more thing on Evans.... I don't think another player can get him going. Unless he's cutting hard to the hoop and scoring off of back doors, there isn't much the other guys on the team can do to create offense for him. He so one dimensional (but great at that dimension) that he really just needs to be aggressive, which he wasn't tonight. He didn't have the ball nearly as much as I would want him to if I was the coach, but I don't blame Thomas for his poor night.

This x 1,000,000. His lack of an outside shot leaves him vulnerable to being buried in the offense. Tyreke really needs to watch Manu and how he plays without the ball and model his game after him.

Now when you have the guard doing that, he is freezing out Cousins (not so much) Thornton and Tyreke, three better players than he is, three guys all capable of scoring 20. Now you have an issue.
That's a big part of it. When Reke had the ball previously as a point, he wasn't ignoring a Reke type talent on one wing, and an MT type talent on another. IT is. IT getting Reke going isn't the same as Reke sitting back and getting Omri/Beno going. Just completely different options when coming down the court.

1 more Loss and we're tied with toronto in the standings.. they beat denver tonight... 1 step closser to possibly obtaining Davis.

The same game as you. I just choose not to blame the loss on IT and put Evans' lack of performance on someone elses shoulders.

Isaiah freezing everyone else out in the second half contributed to this loss more than him scoring 26 did to try and win.

So you're solution is......what? Reke steal the ball from IT? IT doesn't get him the ball at all, doesn't keep him involved, and it's Reke's fault. Good to know. Always Reke's fault, lol. Never heard that on here before.

You said IT is good enough to do that. Uh, not if he isn't good enough to close the game without them. Didn't tonight. Didn't close well at Hou. Dribbled the ball right off his foot at GS.

It's much easier to blame the guy who dominated Parker tonight. Right?

Who is saying this is Reke's fault. I never said anything like that. All I said is he is responsible for his own performance. I think your Reke sensitivity is manifesting itself in to anger towards IT.

Dominated? Parker got his points when it mattered, including the back breaking three. If you mean outscored, then yes.

Holding the MVP candidate to 10 pts 10 assists on 4/11 and scoring 28 pts 10 assists on 11/19 shooting is the definition of dominated.

Oh, but because it IT that doesn't matter

Everybody is getting really worked up over this loss. It's really not a big deal. We got beat by one of the best teams in the NBA. We played fairly well but just got beat by a better team. It's amazing everybody is all over IT for this or for that. The guy was the fricking last pick in the draft and is developing into a solid NBA point guard. He totally outplayed "MVP Candidate" Tony Parker tonight. Does he have his faults? Yes, but he's a rookie and will continue to improve. It's time for everybody to relax!

Yeah, except for that pesky loss.

He didn't hold him to anything. Parker was too busy getting teammates involved, he is a pg afterall, and because of that multiple guys were in a rhythm, and.....they won. Think Pop would rather Parker just jack up 19 shots and not get anyone else involved?

Hey, y'all, don't be mad at Evans, I asked him to lay down this week, to give me a chance to make the playoffs. He'll be right as rain on Monday.

DMC took 24 shots to score 25 points and had 5 turnovers and 2 assists. He does rebound like a mad man though. I think this is one of those games that he hurt the team more than helped them.

Say what? One missed shot from being 50% shooting for the night. You are reaching pretty far trying to take the man down.

He took 24 shots to score 25 points. It just isn't very efficient. That is all I am saying. I am not saying he is horrible or that he will always be inefficient. I was just using this game to show what I was referring to. He needs to be way more efficient on the offensive end if he is going to be a dominate player on a winning team.

Favors was 3-9 with 6 points, tonight. Hmmmmm.....stats...

And the Jazz lost. Worse than that Jefferson score 18 points on 19 shots.

Favors plays much better defense than Cousins and that doesn't really go away when he isn't shooting well.
