Sonics @ Kings Game Thread

Well, dang it. We almost pulled it out. Well, good game. I missed a lot of the game, but we did pretty well considering no Webb, no Pedja, and lots of foul trouble.

Well good effort. The inexperience of the guys forced to play showed up big in crunch time. Sonics were just better.

Back to back tomorrow and this will bring the Kings back down to earth a bit. Will be a tough game IMO if we don't get some guys back.

I am still scratching my head how come Eddie House is our go to guy when we are tied up.

He is not even supposed to be on the floor!

I like the man's D but speaking of shooting....... not good at all...

We get Evans back tomorrow. I just about garuntee when Peja comes back, Mobley will sit a few games. He is really hurting but he knows we have nobody else.

the one thing that bugs me about this loss is the simple fact that it was at home...i mean i think i could have lived with the loss if it were on the road...it would have still sucked that we lost...but it wouldn't of bothered me as much....we all know we have more road games then home games left so we need to win all that we can at home...and this was an opportunity squandered....yes given no Peja no Chris no Mo no Bobby...and basically no Brad or Mike due to foul trouble...doesn't change the fact that we lost at home...hopefully we can "rebound" from tonights loss and beat the snot out of golden state tomorrow night

as for Joey Crawford...i really don't know when he's gonna realize that the fans don't go to the games to see him T people up and throw people out of the game....Joey your name ISN'T in lights...ugh

GO KINGS!

A win would have been great, but I am for one proud of our guys tonight. They came out and fought for it.
I'm with you on this, guys played great defense tonight, and only six turnovers :D Darius played brilliantly, I truly love his game. Bibby high scorer with 25/6/4, House 13/1/1. Guys off the bench who get playing time when they don't get much otherwise, and come thru...YAHOO!!!

P.S. Bradley 6/4/1 in 10 minutes.

tough loss. hopefully we can bounce back tomorrow!! i liked the teams effort. there were definately some bad decisions at the end of the game. i too was wondering why bibby didn't shoot until the very end. instead eddie house took the shot(when we were down by 1). miller fouling out also hurt us. and of course not having peja and webb. just gotta come out tomorrow and take care of business.

go kings!!!

Whats up with miller? he is always giving that face, pissed off and getting technicals. As much as love it when Brad is on fire. PLEASE stick it up and be a man.

Had to give it to seattle down the stretch. they played great, executed and deserved a win.

Why cannot Webber/Pedja do sth. like Cassell, to come off bench and play several mins? Not question their heart, but just frustrated to see we lost to Sonics. I hate that Fortson!

In all honesty, both of them have played ful games while carrying an injury. Peja has been playing with injured back for 34 weeks. No wonder he is having problems now. Just rest and heal!

Bibby 2/11 from threes, ouch.

ya know i kept saying to myself even from the very beginning....they are hoisting up too many threes....they didn't pound the ball inside ENOUGH...IMO...therefore they didn't get any of those inside fouls that Seattle got....I thought the referring was balanced....it wasn't one sided...some of the calls may have been bogus...but thats all games around the NBA...Seattle came out with a chip on their shoulder after last nights loss to the Spurs at home...they knew they had to win tonight

4/7/6/1 block, 1-6 from the field (an awesome layup). Guess Brad was due for a lackluster game, shooting wise.

it sux too

his foul trouble COMPLETELY took him out of the game....and thats unfortunate

You're right about the fouls being somewhat even, however when fouls are constantly being called it slows down the game considerably, not Kings style of play. The petty fouls were often called on transition plays (both ways). It pretty much sucked, and I don't usually complain about the calls.
