PG duties need to be in Mikes hand at that point... Not Johns... And the calll out of the timeout? One on one iso with Mike...GREAT play Muss...

either plyers should be fined for "disobeying" the coach or the coach should be shot for a pathetic display of incompetence.

Do we have any set plays out of timeout that will give us a good shot ?

Then Jerry says
"I don't think we really had anyone that matched up with Wilcox athletically"

Oh really? Let me think... Who's sitting on that bench... Wilcox looked like a man against boys out there... He was two feet in the air while Corliss and Reef were glued to the floor all night...

I think the players should get an incentive for disobeying the coach out of a timeout. It's not as if Muss would know the players are running a different "play" Whatever he says has to be in passing as the players walk away

Muss:n"Alright guys lets go get em! ::Thinks to himself crap I don't have a play:: Oh uh... ISO with Mike! GO!"
Ron: "Dude... Mike's not even in the GAME right now..."
Muss: "Yeah uh... Mike I told you to get in there!"
Mike: "No you didn't..."
Kevin: "Yeah coach you didn't... You didn't even have a play did you?"
Muss: "Loser says what?"
Players in unison: "What?"
Muss: "Hahaha get in there... ::2 seconds pass:: Says out loud "I got them... I'm so smart... That was close"
:Players are still standing there staring at him:
Ron: "And then said I was crazy?"

Remember all those GREAT power points and volumes of notes that he had on our players strenghts and weaknesses? Maybe he should go review those. I think he forgot. I CANNOT believe that I am almost thinking that we would have been better off with Nellie.

Thank you! That made me laugh out loud, honestly. I sure wish it wasn't true, though...

Unless you're Jerry Sloan, there really isn't such a thing as "long-term" coach anymore in the NBA.

They actually rebounded alright with the lineup, it's just the complete lack of interior defense that doomed the Kings (again) tonight.

Here's a question: Is Corliss doing well this year becuase he has made a genuine resurgence in his career, or does he seem to play better than in the last couple of years because the team isn't as deep as in the past and he has more of a chance to get involved in the offense?

(My guess would be both.)

well...and he's still young enough to find a good home on some team that has more money than us to pay him.
