Not much changed except that Kings "extened" a series a bit. Still, difficult situation and a lots of pressure for the Kings who are still trying to find a good mix and a "regular" rotation. Still not playing great on either end of the floor and not really looking like a team in control. Saying all that - it was graet to win a game last Friday. It was expected but still it was good.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The last one was easy because of desperation and ARCO - crowd. Sonics could not handle it. It is not going to be the same tonight. Kings will have to play better on both ends of the floor for yet another 48 minutes. If we win tonight the momentum might shift and that would be a good thing because even if we win we have to still win 2/3 and one of the road and this team has to prove that it is capable of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ARCO - is always good for a win. That is nothing new but always great to see. Seattle could not handle it. We need that again and there is not doubt about it that it will be great again. HCA is important in the PO especially for the teams which are not "favorites" to win the series. There is no place like ARCO during the PO
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kings are taking a large amount of quick, bad shots that went in on Friday. They might go in tonight too because they tend too at home. It does not change the fact that they are bad shots. Maybe, it is just me bev=cause I am not used to se a player bringing a ball upcourt, dribbling for 4 seconds and jack up a contested shot. Maybe that is a new style. What I do know is that this is a team game and that the ball movement nd rythm of all players is crucial to have succes especially considering the fact that Kings are not great defensively. We need to do a better job tonight or it may be it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Effort and desire were there last game. We know it would. What we don't know is - where the hell has it been in the first 2 games ? Starters were "embarassed" and the had to respond. I would buy it if we were Chicago, Washington and other unexperienced teams. For the team which has as much experience as we do - I just don't buy it. People are "praising" the effort from the last game. The effort should be a GIVEN and not an exception.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DFF helped out a lot last game. We needed a stop he was there. We needed a free throw he was there again. We need him to continue to play with this consistancy. We also need him to last longer than 8 minutes so he should not foul out too early;). Also somebody needs to tell Ridenour to watch where he is going and to make sure not to go trough the wall with his head:eek:. I thought - it was funny.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If I had any saying - I would pass a law that forbids a lineup (Bobby, Mike, Cattino, Pedja and Williamson). It just drives me crazy. We are going frim midget- to dwarf - to penguin - lineups which don't work and we keep going there. Mayve I just don't understand the purpose. Maybe we are just trying to find out wheather James can score 50 in a game or wheather Sonics can have a 5 minutes contineous possesion. Looks pathetic out there.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We need the whole team to make adjustments and to leave it all on the floor. This will be much harder game than the last one. We need to win this one. There are no alternatives

i think that the kings still have their identity. we got alot of new players, but their bench players. are core is still here. miller, peja, mike, bobby, darius. but the thing is i think the kings should play their game. play the game that has worked for us the past few years. push the ball and don't give the defense time to settle. but if we have to play a half court game we need to BOX OUT and get out on those picks.

Can't stress how good it feels to be back @ ARCO. It could be a reminder to the Kings how much Sac loves them. I could easily see us taking at least game 4 and 5

there is a big difference between what you want to see and what you're gonna see.

I agree a lot of the shots they took last games were totally out of the offense...luckily they were going in for the most part...I don't know the assist total but I know it couldn't of been very high...thats gotta change that stat has GOT to get up!!

This game as GOT to be a very well executed game...period. Everyone has to be on their best game and on their best behaviour...the crowd has also gotta be on top of its game but I'm not worried about ARCO...this game is just as big to Seattle as it is for us the guys gotta know and REMEMBER that...

A couple of things I would like to add to that..

-Brad Miller continuing to layout Luke at midcourt (I love ya Luke but I love Brad more)
-Peja dominant on the offensive end...really making Lewis work EVEN harder
-Darius having more of an impact I don't expect a lot but not 5 fouls in 12 mins
-Mike to be agressive on both ends simliar to Friday but remembering to run the offense a bit more...I don't really like 4 assists from him
-Brian mattering in limited minutes of the bench perhaps blocking some shots
-Kenny hitting the boards HARD!!!!
-Jerome James getting DENIED DENIED and DENIED again--I as well as everyone else has been waiting for him to come down to Earth and I honestly don't see that happening unless he gets in foul trouble thats pretty much the only thing that take and keep him out of the game...I've always like Jerome but I'm pretty sick of hearing his name...I don't want to see him, hear his name or see his name written ANYWHERE-ENOUGH ALREADY!!
-I think Corliss is the only person that could actually manage to get under Danny Fortson's skin and if that truly is the case...I hope that in Corliss's limited minutes he succeeds in frustratiing him enough to get him T'd up--It's one of my simple pleasures in my "basketball life" :) I also hope Danny keeps being a total and complete STUD for us :)
-Ray Allen to have a 1/16 night

GO KINGS!!!

LETS TIE THIS UP!!!

I think we can beat them if Brad or Tag are on the court the whole game.

We need those rebounds at the board. We can't give Seattle shoot-arounds like they had in games 1 and 2.

(BTW - 76'ers and Detroit just went into overtime. Good game.)

I know I'm a big Brad lova but seriously is their any other guy in the league who sets those midcourt picks consistently...?? IMHO he's the best in the league at it :D I remember yelling after he knocked lil Luke to the ground "OH GOD YES! ITS SO NICE TO HAVE BRAD MILLER BACK!" lol

I just put on my same "stylin" outfit I had for game 3. Red sox, playoff shirt, and purple sweater. I am ready and here's hoping the KINGS are too. Let's GO KINGS!! I know ARCO will be rocking!!

GOOOO KINGS!! Give it EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!!!

Where is everyone? I cannot wait for this game to start and the anticipation is killing me. It seems like it is taking forever for this game to get started. I hope the ARCO crowd gets our guys going and everyone comes out and has a really solid game!! :)
