Somebody pls help on the J Reynold's Stat

Kingster

Hall of Famer
Remember when the Kings were very good and Reynold used to quote a statistic demonstrating how good they were? I'm trying to remember what it is and then see what that stat shows about this team now. I think it involved the margin of victory and the margin of loss for each team in the NBA, but I can't remember the specifics.

Strange, how Reynolds hasn't used that stat for while, hugh?;)

Anybody remember?

Thanks.

Margin of victory is good. So is FG% against. Not sure what specific stat you want tho. I know he also like to seea high number of assists.

I think it might of been something like a quotient:

Margin of Victory/Margin of Defeat

I'm not positive though. Jerry, are you out there?

I've never understood why so much emphasis is put on field goal percentage. Anyone remember the Chicago game a few weeks ago. They were missing completely wide open shots....I mean no one within 5 feet and they ended up shooting like 36% for the game and on the way home all I heard was what great defense they played because Chicago's shooting percentage was so low  .
