Its actually quite cheap at $10. Its really far to walk from off the arena site, especially after dark. I will say that, since we drive from different areas, when I meet my son's family for a game, I meet him at a nearby shopping area parking lot. That way we can all get in one car and only pay $10 instead of $20 for two cars. If you can do that with someone else, that's a good way to save. Also cuts down on cars leaving the lot after the game.
As to after the game, if its a large crowd it is a little tough getting out. So instead of wasting gas idling, I usually go to my car, turn on the radio to the after game KHTK show and wait a short while for things to thin out.
