Just got home what a game, Skinner and Thomas showed their worth tonight, Kings were shooting well which helped. Cat goes for 30 and Mike turns it on when it matters most(as usual), I think we know who our go to guys are. I feel a lot better after this game, looking foward to the playoffs.

Mike hasn't been tallying many assists recently. Right after the trade he seemed to average 10 assists per game, but his assists have slipped off along with his shooting. I hope he'll get his passing game working again too.

Of course they all mattered. His shot wasn't falling but he played a decent pg and brought very good D.
Shots do matter more in the fourth because that is where the win happens.

piksi, it is entirely possible that while Peja, Cat, etc had great games, Bibby's contributions sealed the win, or put them over the edge. Just because Bibby came through in the clutch doesn't mean that Peja didn't help either.

Its not about shots having more value in the 4th Q than the other 3, its about this Kings team not being good enough anymore. They aren't a team to blow other teams out, this is how they are going to have to win. The game is going to be close and if its going to win won it will be done it the 4th Q.

Shots are harder to make in the 4th with the game on the line. Thats why they are more valuable...there just aren't as many guys that can make them. Lucky for us Cat carried us the whole game and the 4th huh?

this has absolutely nothing to do with Pedja.

It has to do with Bibby playing only one quarter which is much more than he did in the last 6 games or so but not nearly enough for what we need

The TEAM wins the game...you can't win without everyone involved. When guys aren't playing well, their teamates pick up their slack and that's what makes a team. Stop picking apart every player and acting like they have never done anything to help the team. You can't expect each player to play great every night. You will forgive me if I bookmark this posting and paste it the next time when we have trade Pedja thread because he cannot get his own shot, he cannot run offense and he is a pure shooter/finisher? What does that tell yuo? That if the TEAM is playing well and ball is moving Kings style it is reflected in both team record and Pedja's speciality - finishing. I mean, I am supposed to be Pedja homer but even I gave up on the dude ever being able to gice us anything else.

You can't have it both ways.

BTW, I don't like piksi's sig precisely because it is ambiguous and missleading, but I have to give it to him - he didn't post Pedja's stats to prove his point (if that was his intention) but he posts team record with Pedja spin.

Did you steal Brick's password or does he actually agree with your analysis?

Bibby ( C ) -- For three quarters wanted to put up a giant Bat Signal reading "Mike, where have you gone??" Ineffective and sloppy start, mentally as much as physically. Just was not dialed in and A.I., and on one early possession, Webb, just flat took it away from him. Finished the first half with an anemic 2pts 4asts 2TOs on 1-4 shooting. Came out in the third, and was marginally better, but might still have had a totally ineffective "F" going at that point. But the 4th quarter Mike came out a totally different animal, and one more time he was the guy stepping up to keep us rolling down the stretch. His overall game was still forgettable, but it was great to see Mike back for even a quarter, and it was the right quarter at that.

For those who are interested, you might have missed CWebb on SportsCenter a few minutes ago but you can catch it on the replay. Nice clip of his post-game interview for those outside Sac. who didn't get to see it the first time around.
