Okay, so basically you guys are saying you want to be able to torture the prey for a while before I kill it?

;)

...sigh...

Okay, I'll keep that in mind.

In the meantime, I'll just find some catnip for all of you.

Also there should be a " life time troll achievement award"

Actually, there is only ONE troll that could possibly win that award. A Laker fan, he managed to amass well over 4,000 posts before he finally ran into the POOF cloud.

;)

Nope. I was here the entire time.

Geoff - He was always clever enough to make lucid comments with just a hint of troll. He would occasionally step over the line, but that was generally about Laker-Kings games...

After a while, however, he became more and more jaded and his takes got less and less interesting and more and more spiteful until the venom finally just overcame the redeeming value of his posts.

Au contraire. I have three cats and have always had cats. And, much like cats, I set a high standard for entertainment value.

;)
Both of my cats approve of food as entertaiment. My 14 year old in her prime learned that if she broke a birds wing she couldpaly with it for a very long time before all the fun was over... The 2 year old will stalk then chase Squirles all morning, but when she catches them she just lets them go... guess they don't taste great, for her it is ALL about the chase.

But they won't play with sick or diseased prey...

That's what I was trying to say with the "high standard". I probably should have said something about "minimum acceptable quality standard."

Since it's become obvious to us here, the kings management team (GP, RA et al), and hopefully peja himself that he was the choice over Webber for the future, its time maybe the team needs to look to him and look for him more now than ever. hope you all get the drift of this... only my 2nd response.

Ya'll are havin' too much fun ....

I was thinkin' about gettin' in on this one .... but, I'll pass ... mostly cuz everything's already "been there - you need a t-shirt ???" ...

Com'n Peja .... anytime you feel like it ... were rootin' for ya !!!

I get your drift but I think Peja needs to step up and command the team's attention. It's more than time for him to make some noise, DEMAND the ball, DEMAND respect from his team-mates, etc. The team HAS looked to him and, at least most of the time, he's either been looking the other way or simply become invisible. The onus is on Peja to take action now, not the team.

Enough with the "owing it to Peja' stuff. Enough uber-wimp. Peja is either a man and steps up and MAKES it happen for himself and the team, or he has no place. The rest of the guys all take repsonsibility for themselves, I am sick to death of everybody having to be responsible for Peja as well. He is responsible for himself. For his own effort. For his own success or failure. I'm sure each and every King would LOVE to have Peja give a damn, fight, and commit to helping the team win at all costs. I'm just as sure that more than a few of them have to wondering at this point what its going to take and whether he's really worth the trouble. NOT the guy you want to be in a foxhole with. We spend 2/3 of our energy around here worrying about the opponent, and another 1/3 worrying about whether Peja is going to bless us with an effort or not. Its ridiculous.

I think I get your drift, but for the team to "look to Pedja" he needs to be visable.

You guys are funny as hell, with all the Troll stuff lol..as far as Peja goes,he def. needs to put it all in the sack and bring it NOW!!!

You all did get my drift... He HAS to step it up so the guys WILL look for him. It is on Peja to get it together, NOW, or he's done here...

I criticize Peja every year but only in the playoffs because he always seems to choke in the playoffs. This is pretty much the first time I'm complaining about the way he is playing in the regular season. Who knows maybe he'll finally contribute in the playoffs since he has played so bad this year.

You're making the other Peja fans seemed biased over this whole Peja not performing well situation. I'm not. When I back a player up, I go by their current stats and their physical condition. If Peja just came a week back from an ailing injury, I would understand his pain. However, Peja was injured a couple weeks back and by seeing him play for about seven years, he's not the kind of guy that would play agressively if he's feeling pain whatsoever. I personally want Peja to work his butt off so he can show that he is a great player. Until he does that, I'm on a Peja fan hiatus. ;)

U guys just cant wait to see him playing bad, so u can talk about him all day long. bIBBY had bad games,Bobby,Chris,Brad none talked so LOUD about that.

Simple... it its obvious that Bibby works his *** off during the games even if he isnt playing well, there is no doubt about it. He has won many games for us already. Brad began the season a little less active and physical but now it shows that he is trying to change. Chris isnt even on our team and there was nothing bad to say about him, he carried us the whole year. Bobby has been injured and you cant expect so much from Bobby. All I expect from Bobby is some energy for the team, constant defense, and some aggressive offense. We talk about every player after a bad game, but everyone knows its "Only One Game" but when a player (Peja) has played horrible all year long, the patience runs low.

Shouldve kept him around longer VF21... :)
