Big Cuz 15

he's in the wizards doghouse and has some skills, desperately needs a scenery change, what do you guys think?

Gary said:Hmm, probally wouldnt be too hard to get a guy like that. If we signed a backup PG, than traded Christie and Songalia for Brown and Dixon?
Not sure if that was last season, but this year when I was at the game Dec 21 he had 1 whole point... impressive! At least he's improving each year right?Gary said:You know Brown had a 30 point 19 rebound night against us? LOL.

thedofd said:I think acquiring Tag was a good move and that he can and will help the Kings. I'm just concerned that Rick is uncomfortable using him as often as not. I'm not indicting either Rick or Tag; it's just a fact. Brown can play both 4 and 5 and is more athletic, and thus might be of more value in the rotation.
Unfortunately, we can't get Brown for Songaila...Bricklayer said:I would ratehr have him than Darius just based on much higher potential. he can easily get Darius's numbers, but still has a chance to be considerably more as well.
But I'm just not willing to give much up for him. There's a decent chance he ends up out of the league in a few years, and if not that, that he ends up just being a mid-bencher for somebody. Certainyl I don't think we could possibly give guys like Tag or Christie to get him -- not if we are still holding out any hope of contending this year.

I don't know about not being willing to trade Ostertag for him, though; I think that he has the potential to be a good shot blocker, if he were playing in the right system. I think a trade to a team like Sacramento might do him some good. I think that Ostertag is a good player, for what we have him here to do, but I don't think that we can't do better... Hell, I'd rather have a healthy Pollard than Ostertag...
Incidentally, we could get Brown for Ostertag, and either Barnes or Evans.
Right... because we've *never* had a player come here and do significantly better than he did elsewhere; that's *never* happened...HndsmCelt said:This is a guy that averages 16 min a game during which he delivers .15 blocks 2 fouls and 1.4 TO and you want to trade Tag for him? Ok what ever.
Any chance we can con Milwaukee out of Gadzuric?Bricklayer said:It all depends on what you are trying to do -- if you're seriously trying to win a championship THIS year, well this team just flat out NEEDS to have a shotblocker or we will fail. We simply can't do it without one. And so Tag is a necessity. Or another guaranteed shotblocking stud of that caliber. If you trade him away, there is simply no other player ont he team with a prayer of matching his productivity or intimidation. And that includes Kwame even if he dramatically steps it up.
Point taken, but then again guys that never do anythign have tons of potnetial. Tag is delivering the goods I'd hate to trade him for Brown.Mr. S£im Citrus said:Right... because we've *never* had a player come here and do significantly better than he did elsewhere; that's *never* happened...

Kwame Brown clearly has potential. Unfortunately for him, there's not much between his ears, but it wouldn't be the first time we made a serviceable player out of someone else's throwaway...
