Should the Heat be fined?

The Spurs rest their stars against the Heat and all hell breaks loose - everybody gets fined.

Now, the Heat rested LeBron and Wade against the Spurs. Coincindence? Will the league look the other way?

Could you refresh my memory? For the life of me I do not remember anyone getting fined.

Thank you. :)

The only thing that might save the Heat from a similar fine seems to be the timing. It's not unusual for teams to sit players towards the end of the season, although two weeks before playoffs does seem early. The Spurs did it in December.

Either way, I personally find it despicable. Fans deserve to see the players that are the reason for high ticket prices.

I pretty much feel this way. You are cheating the people who pay good money. I might excuse a last game or two, especially for players that might have been playing with a nagging or minor injury.

I can't imagine the cub scout Pat Riley would do anything mean, vindictive, or retaliatory like that... inconceivable!!!!

how does giving your opponent a better chance at beating you fit in with any of those adjectives? also, why would this be Riley's decision?
