Yes. Yes he should.

This problem is getting pretty big/annoying and I think it deserves its own thread.

I love JT, he has the skills to be a great player, and one of the best players on our team. But dude.. SHUT UP and play..plz!

Your a young player that led the league in fouls last year, you are going to get some BS calls.. and its not helping your cause or the teams when you cry like a baby and flail your arms after EVERY SINGLE FOUL called on you.

I thought Miller was bad but this is just brutal..

I hope to god someone in the Kings organization is talking to him about this..

Nut up or Shut Up!

I voted shock collar as I thought it more likely to pass NBA unifrom rules.

The reality is that he's going to get shock collared by the refs in the form of Ts if he does not grow up here sooner rather than later -- they already warned him about it last year, and here he is back regressing again. It appears half a year of Brad's tutleage was half a year too much.

A-bloody-men.

Apparently JT never fouls. He is only a target because of the conspiracy to give him a bad reputation immediately coming into the league. His lack of self control, big mouth, and demonstrative reactions have little to do with his troubles.

It's easy for all of us to sit here at home and blame JT but guess what? When your out their on the court and your testosterone is in full effect, its hard to keep your emotions in check. Especially when you get called for the most ridiculous fouls on a consistent basis. In Jt's own words, just let him play for God's sake.

Yeah if I was on the court I'd get kicked out each game =P

Muzzle? no not like he's getting T's, not sure if he's ever got one actually.

To be honest, I don't think that JT is yelling at the ref's. At least not this year. I think he's just frustrated with himself. And rightly so. He keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. He has the bad habit of reaching out and touching the other player just as he makes his move. He just needs to keep his hands in his pocket.

His other mistake is one that I thought he actually was improving on, and thats having his hands straight up in the air. He continually reaches forward over the top of the player. Their going to call it on him every time. Hell they used to call it on Pollard and he did have his hands straight up in the air. Yes, he gets called for some phantom fouls too. But if he didn't make the other mistakes they wouldn't matter.

Jason's problem is that he tries too hard. Easy for me to say from the comfort of my couch. But he has a herky jerky style on offense that can easily be seen as an offensive foul. I like his game better when he's in a face up position to the basket. He then has a good look at the basket and the defense. He can step back and shoot the jumper, or if his man fronts him, take him off the dribble and drive, or pass to an open man. He has the ball handling, and passing skills to do that. Over time he can learn the post up game.

I think he over reacts to the referees calls so I voted for shock collar. Westphal should just bench him at 2 fouls until the second half. Then bench him again after each foul.

JT we love you man, but quit crying about the refs!

I also opted for the shock collar.

The facial expressions and body contortions he goes through after virtually every call, good or bad, need to stop and they need to stop now. He hasn't earned the right to even begin to dispute an official's call even if he's on the bench when it's called.

I wish they'd go back to the no nonsense attitude they had a couple of years ago. Argue with an official and get t'd up.

This whole "Oh, no you didn't" attitude by some players towards the offiicals never works out well for the players. I don't know why they keep doing it but apparently nothing short of electrical shock will get them to stop.

Sorry but JT hasn't earned the right to the righteous indignation and I'm not gonna buy the "keep emotions in check" excuse. If he's going to be a success in the NBA, he's going to have to learn to keep his emotions in check. It's not that hard if he really wants to do it.

I'm beyond tired of people making excuses for poor or lazy behavior by our players on the court. When it's someone like JT, who has potential oozing out of every pore, it's even worse.

He needs to shut up, suck it up and play...and play well. And if/when he does, his game will talk for him and he'll get the benefit of the break officials give to those who aren't constantly whining.
