Shareef

I really hate to say this because its going to bring about chaos....

I really like reef off the bench.....

*ducks in the shadows*

Reef showed a ton of heart tonight! Props to SAR for gutting it out, and contributing!

Yeah, thank you Reef. We NEEDED you tonight too.

Hope he gets better soon!

And yes he did something we haven't had off the bench all year! Score.

He has the heart of a warrior and, from what was reported tonight, he just wanted to get back out there and help his team any way he could.

I admire and respect that.

Thanks, SAR!

So true. When I saw how our bench was doing against theirs I did a double take, then I remembered Reef was off the bench. I like him coming off the bench at least for now, he has the right attitude.

SAR is the man...showed heart..brought us attitude...breathing through your nose after you run...i mean damn...thats hard

PROPS

"I want to help the guys"

man, do I like the sound of that. SAR is a true team player. happy to see him on the court tonight!

It is great to know that these guys still believe in each other. A lot of players on a lot of teams who were struggling like we have been would take off as much time as possible. Both Reef, and improbably, Peja, gutted it out though pain tonight because they are not going to give up on this season. I think that is all the fans are asking for, and we saw it tonight.

Plus he is one of the 10% of people that breathe exclusively through their mouths. He had to learn to breathe through his nose when his mouth got wired shot. Imagine playing an NBA game breathing only through your nose... Yikes...

How hard is that when you have to change what you've been used to all your life? He probably can't play for too long yet, he only played 19 mins tonight. One question though, is he able to communicate vocally at all?

i gotta admit, i still think SAR is a softie. :p

but last night was a testament to how much heart rahim may actually have. he wasnt a part of the old lakers-kings rivalry. this game meant nothing to him, personally. it was just 1 of 82. but reef made it more than just one game by coming back with his jaw still wired shut. he showed a fire and tenacity--and perhaps even a desire to win--that we haven't seen yet from him, despite limited minutes last night. he gets serious kudos for further inspiring his team to victory. i'm impressed, to be honest, for the first time in a long time.
