ReinadelosReys said:So the story goes:
Shareef was urged to stay in Sacramento but he wanted to play, be with the team and flew with them to LA. In the middle of the night he wakes up with intolerable pain and knows there is more to the injury that originally thought. So he gets it looked at in LA and then is sent back to Sacramento.

LMM said:so SAR is out a month? or atleast a month?
how about peja? did he reinjure himself? when is he coming back?
ReinadelosReys said:He has a broken jaw--that is the only definite thing we know right now. He will mostly likely, according to Grant, need surgery to fix it and is going over his options right now.
Appearently Peja was "bothered" by his groin last night after the game, even recieving treatment on it on the plane. It is likely that he will not play tonight.

Odoylerules said:Shareef abdur-Rahim will be out a minimum of one month after suffering a broken jaw in last night's game against the Blazers.
Peja Stojakovic will also miss tonight's game.
Go Kings

He got the technical later. Apparently SAR complained that Randolph elbowed him again.Ryan@CU said:yeah, I remember when it happened. I think that's why he was pissed and got a technical foul
ReinadelosReys said:News update: Don't expect anything else on this until tomorrow. Kings just released a statement saying that no decisions will be made or at least made public until tomorrow
