Tied at 85, and what do they do? Choke it away....

It has nothing to do with size, skill, or anything... Just a complete choke and a complete JOKE!

I wouldn't say I lost respect for them...they're not the same team like they were in the past.

Like what LPKingsFan said: Dallas, as well as a lot of other teams are just a better team than the Kings.

Well, we have been known for that..................:( :( :(

Sorry, Dallas is just a better team and did what good teams do....close out a game. It wasn't so long ago that I can't remember what that was like when it was the Kings.:(

Not only better, but critically had the best player on the floor to just take it over for them. Superstars = nice to have. Dirk is borderline, but certainly close enough to dominate this one when he needed to.

It kills me to say this... but Dallas is simply a better squad.

The Lakers are no better team then us and they blew the Dallas team out of the building it's not because Dallas is better we don't play Defense we have no playmakers and we have no rebounders Dallas are the same thing but Rebouding is there advantage..

Yeah I think they said after the game was tied, Dirk got the next 11 points for Dallas. We had a lot of good open looks that we missed, which has been a constant all season. We have no GO TO player who can hit easy shots consistently.

The Lakers will be lucky to do that again -- KOBE blew the Mavs ou of the building, and on that night probably would have beaten the Pistons too.

Mavs are MUCH better than us at this point. Not even arguable, and people really need to quit living in the misty past when they were our whipping boys. They are new + different. So are we (unfortunately).

As an aside, the records sya the Lakers are considerably better than us too, and they hae that "man", that overwhelming player to carry them when the going gets tough. We just have guys.

Lakers are not then us.... there is arguement there sure there record speaks for themselfs but I still think Kings are better am I wrong?

Apparently so.

Mentioned many many times, this isn't a video game. Isn't fantasy ball. Names are irrelevant. Lakers all know their roles now. Are not great, but are settling in as a solid team led by a great player. We however are lost, have few roleplayers and no great players. Not how you win.

There is absolutely no news or new developments in this loss. As far as I'm concerned, I know that this team is going to lose a game like this 3 out of 4 nights. Maybe we'll get that one night a nights in a row, but the Sacramento Kings in their current incarnation will continue to choke away big games by a factor of inconsistency and stupid decisions by our established players and simple lack of talent and ability by the younger players. I didn't lose any respect from this game tonight, I actually gained some because our bench played hard and kept us close down the strech. Dallas can put out 5 guys on the floor and just straight up knock down any 5 players we play, esp. w/o Peja and Bonzi. It would be actually suprising if the Kings managed to hold on. In a best of 7 against a team like this (not that it will come to that) I would be genuinely suprised if we won 2 games. The team sucks. All fans should realize that by now. This thread is pointless unless you really like pointing out the obvious over and over again.

Uh oh, here we come....
Let us know when the shuttle lands. The kings just don't have a bench and they are missing certain players at key spots to fill the roles. It's that simple, we can't win with subpar drek.
No matter how well we play, it is hard to win on a consistant basis with poor bench players and questionable starting players.

Kind of funny ... you've got a picture that says CLUTCH ... and you're complaining about choking.

Very ironic.

:D

... and led by Zen master PJ.

Last year, they got that same great player but no PJ and the result was a stunning no playoff appearance. ;)

Guess you didn't understand that our two top scorers and our most agressive player were not there and their fill ins were 2 rookies, one who virtually had not played this year, and little used Kevin Martin.

I applaud the rag-tag team for being tied 85-85 in the 4th. Then a superstar, or nearly so, took game on his back and did what a better team does.

I'm pretty sure that after we were tied at 85 that Dirk him self went on a 9-0 run against us. We have no one who can guard him. Neither does anyone else in the NBA except for the Timberwolves with KG.

You guys keep bringing up the fact that the mavs have a better team and that they have the borderline superstar to take over... I understand that and I know that can beat you 9 out of 10 times... What got me mad was how we just missed open shot after open shot... See in the rockets game when we collapsed they were smothering us and we lost the ball like on 6 possesions in a row... It was the total opposite in the mavs game.... And we even missed layups, but that's ok our guys can't jump so I'll let them slide....

Not true. We had Brad Miller to gaurd Dirk. And why that was allowed to happen is beyond me!

Even the announcers mentioned that they needed to put Shareef back on Dirk but it was too late.
