You know, there is the possibility that Wemby won’t be as good as everyone expects this season. Or that he suffers a Chet Holmgren experience.
Chet Holmgren himself may have a decent shot at ROY if he's fully recovered and has been working on getting stronger etc. Lots of guys that missed their rookie year with injury have been really good that next season (Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons etc).

Sasha I looks to be a seamless fit in our offense. The DHO, cutting, passing lanes, and spacing should benefit him tremendously. I can see him come in and average 12 ppg and 3-4 rebs in 18-22 mins per.

I was wrong about him coming over. I thought the comfort and familiarity would win out, and from what he said it almost did. But I'm glad he came over. He could be an integral piece on a championship squad.

I do think he is mentally unprepared for the welcome and love he is going to get here. I'm sure he has been told about it, but experiencing the real thing here in Sac is miles ahead of anything he can imagine.

I think Monte's moves, like last offseason, have been underwhelming to a lot of people as he didn't make a big splash, but I think like last year, the moves he made to shore up a roster built around Fox and Sabonis (and Murray also) will pay dividends on the court.

We are still getting slept on, even by some of our own fans, but I think that will change by mid December.

Just gonna say this about the HB signing vs going after a star SF/PF... aside from the ongoing Keegan/hole at SF/3 and D stuff...

I don't think HB would mind too much if Sasha exploded in the NBA and HB joined the bench squad. I think he honestly just wants to win. That's a very underrated aspect to his "game".

After watching the above video, I'm starting to think Vezenkov may be quite the phenomenon here in the NBA. If so...

Fox
Huerter
Keegan
Sasha
Sabonis

Is an absolutely insane lineup for offense. YEAH I HEAR YOU ABOUT DEFENSE. Please just allow me to salivate at how that starting lineup, if it all clicks, could break every single offensive team stat in the book.

Oh and btw Sasha led Euroleague in rebounding.

That video is bringing the hype! If he delivers, the. Sacramento just became a bigger threat.

And as far as defense, wouldn’t be shocked if we played a lot of zone type D or something Brown can cook up.
If the players can play team D we will be ok

Agreed agreed agreed. Isn't Brown a "defensive" coach after all? :)

I can't remember the source, but I did see last night on Twitter somewhere that Sasha was not playing in Las Vegas. I just remember thinking that our first chance to see him with the team will be the preseason games.
