Sounds like a decent bench option to me. SF, good defender, played in a team that knows how to win, cheap.

Yeah, he's been discussed before, and generally positively. He's not a starter, but he's a tough hardnosed defender, and we have exactly one of those on the whole roster (unless Chuck can turn it around), so the more the merrier.

I wonder if the interest is still there and the Oden "kneecision" is what's keeping us from offering the contract. Would love to have his hardnosed defense on our team.

Def a welcome signing off the bench. He can defend the 2 or 3 spots defensively at a solid level and he's extremely physical. Having him and Mbah to throw at the elite wing players next season would be a huge improvement over what we've had in the past

This is the tye of scrub player I wouldn't mind filling-up the roster as a bench warmer. I am tired of those little chuckers who just wants to score and forget to defend.

I'm sure the Kings will have to over pay to get Sam Young who is a scrappy defender. This is fine except at some point the Kings need to move some players that are currently under contract.
