Yeah the problem with that (as mentioned) is that it makes our guard rotation even more impacted (unless you're going to play Tyreke at the 3 full time), doesn't help our issues at the 3 (same caveat) and leaves us with even worse outside shooting.
With the way IT is playing, and the ability that Tyreke continues to show (despite the absolute blindness of some here and most in the national media) to be a playmaker, I'm pretty satisfied with our guard rotation right now. We've got Tyreke/Thornton/IT, with Jimmer, Garcia, and even Salmons (who might be better suited at the 2) to back that up. That's just not where our problem is. And trading a backup and our pick (which we could hope to use on a 3/4 defensive player) to get another guard and fix what's not terribly broken...why?
