Perhaps he was hoping Petrie wouldn't resign Udrih and would go after real names, so he figured he would rebuild the Kings with Kobe, Wade, and perhaps KG.

Oh good lord.

Almost every time he opens his mouth anymore that's my response.

Oh good lord.

Geoff, you know what to do. No more excuses.

lol He was just on Carmichael Dave saying the opposite last night. He must really be bi-polar or something.

This also reminds me of when Terrel Owens got out of SF and went to Philly, saying he forgot to turn in the papers or something.

He must have the Hershel Walker syndrome. I agree. But at least Walker has a reason for what he has getting rammed in the head every day in games/practice. What is Ron's excuse? hmmm

I have backed Artest from day one because he is a great player and a defensive BEAST. (I love D) However im a Kings fan over Ron anyday. If he does not want to be here why did he not opt and leave our minds at ease so we know where to steer the franchise.

I also have backed Ron. But this time it just really pisses me off. I cant back a person like that anymore.

Ron Artest is a dumbass. I really do hate him now, and will boo him when I go to games. Sorry Ron, last chance to prove yourself and you just proved that you are a retard. I hope you rot wherever you end up.

If he wishes he opted out why not just buy him out at 10% (I know it's a low number) or tell him he's not going to play this year since he "doesn't want to be here"

Maybe he wanted an extension and Petrie/Maloofs haven't offered one? I'm dissatisfied enough with the decisions made by the front office the past 5 years that I'm actually with Artest on this one -- I have no faith in this franchise's ability to build a winning team right now. They talk about defense and then they make Kevin "all I do is score" Martin the face of the franchise? Huh? They let Rick Adelman go and then hire Eric Musselman and Reggie Theus? Beno gets a 5 year deal with a player option? Mikki Moore? I mean seriously, would you want to spend the rest of your prime playing for this basketball team?
