Houston needs to make a move...why not "The Franchise",Tmac, Artest, Yao

Kings need a decent defender who will not punch fans in the mouth, plus they get a rookie point guard.

yep, he needs to go to a contender who could use his versatile skills. hes a great role player.

IMO, when we trade Artest, it should be a trade for PF, at least a tweener forward, who can play SF with Moore and play PF with Salmons.

Battier is a good player but he is a typical swingman, which is our strength with Martin, Salmons, and Garcia. I think it's not a good idea. And Houston belongs to the WESTERN conference.

If we really don't mind give Artest to our western competitors, I'd rather take Boris Diaw from Suns. Currently he suffers a bad slump and has a relatively large and long contract, but he's young, athletic, versatile, defensively good, unselfish, good passing sense, and so on.

Or if we have enough salary, we can even get AK47 from Jazz, or Odom from Lakers.

IMHO, these forwards will flourish under Theus.

So basically, either trade Artest for himself, or go for Lamar Odom, Stromile Swift, Shawn Marion, Renaldo Balkman, or Hakim Warrick. Not a lot of fancy pickings.
