Reke doubtful for the game against the raps.

Andrea Bargiani is not a good defender so Cousins could have a big game. If they decide to play Reggie Evans a lot, it could be a good time to use the Dalembert-Cousins frontline.

Hopefully Cuz can lead this team to a dubya if Reke does not. He should be able to demolish Bargs or a smaller Reggie Evans on offense. Hopefully he's able to stay away from picking up fouls while guarding Bargs, but then again he could be guarding Evans a lot of the time.

I bet Reke plays then stinks it up. Then they point back to this report and said he was doubtful so it took a lot to come out and play on the bad ankle.

Tyreke needs to be 100% to be effective with his game. He relies too much on speed and strength, and when either is diminished he plays a very perimeter oriented game that doesn't really help the Kings. PW has options at the 2 guard, albeit no option like #13 on the bench. But as WEAK as Toronto is in the middle without Bosh, the Kings should be able to establish and dominate in the paint. They certainly should win the rebound battle. I am hoping that Cousins can dominate a very slow footed Bargnani. And maybe Landry can find his groove against a big but slow Reggie Evans. I look forward to tomorrows game while I feast on NFL Football. How bout those Sea HAGS?

I did notice him gimping in Thursday nights game a couple of times so I'm guessing it stiffened up on him or something. I'd rather him sit this one out then play at only 50-60 something percent and take a bunch of lean back jumpers that have no chance of dropping. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if he did play because he's a warrior like that and wants to help his team.

if he can play i expect that he will push through and play and rest it against the likes of boston

I'd actually want the opposite to happen. I'd rather he rest the ankle for a few days, because I think Cousins and company can hold fort against the likes of Toronto and Washington. We need Tyreke more than ever to go up against Rondo on Wedneday.

I hope he rests those feet, actually. Evans was clearly limping off the floor in pain after the last game. It was quite obvious he was hurting.

I disagree. IF he has a choice, I want us to pound the teams we should beat. Right now we need every advantage we can get against every beatable team. While yes, a win against Boston would be nice, I'm not holding my breath.....

We finally agree on something! I'd rather have the team at full strength when playing Boston because a win or even a "good" loss against Boston would be way more impressive than beating the Craptors.

Disagree. I'll take the best chance at wins I can get. Those are better for the team than near losses. I want some wins, and I want fans to start showing up in ARCO again. I want some good vibes and momentum on the arena situation. A close loss vs. a bigger deficit to the Celtics isn't going to do much for that. An extra win or two on this road trip just might.

I disagree. Fans were very excited when The Kings almost beat Dallas. Plus, hanging with or beating Boston is more of a confidence booster for a young team than beating a bad team. Also, I'm not really worried about wins this year as much as I am seeing signs of growth and playing well against elite teams, even in a loss, is growth,.

I think id rather see a rested Reke against Boston, and see how well, or bad, we stack up against a contending team. We could still win a game or two without Reke. Also we'll get to see how DMC plays when hes the #1 guy.

lol at you guys. i disagree! i agree! i disagree!... didnt tyreke twist his ankle at the beginning of the last game and still play pretty good? i have to agree that more wins equals more fans and other good things. some people dont even watch/check score on kings games so they wouldnt know if it was close. a lot more people do notice wins.

This. We are trying to attract the "casual" fan back to the arena, the kind that want to see/experience a win or they don't feel like coming back. All some of them do is look at the team records to decide if they want to go. Wins help in this effort, losses (however close) do not. You have to consider the arena effort and a host of other considerations, not just "let's see how we stack up against a good team." We need wins, we need butts in the seats, we need a positive vibe around this town.
