Race to the Bottom thread

Doubt we will catch Pacers or Wiz but rooting for Washington to have the worst record in that case to increase the chances of bumping Indiana out of their first. With the Wiz losing today, I believe only a half game seperate them.

If Indiana doesn’t jump up in to the top 4, they will lose their pick. Regardless if they have the worst overall record and the #5 pick.

Bottom 3 records have the same lotto odds.

what im thinking, if teams jump ahead, be it top three bottom records or further back in the lottery wouldn’t Indiana having the second worst record compared to the first worst increase the likelihood they go no better than five and lose their pick.
If so, I would rather see the Wizards with the worst record to help bump the Pacers back as far as possible thus losing their pick to the Clippers.
I have no love for the Clippers, but after this year I don’t want to see the Pacers rewarded at all.

As of March 16, three teams have 51 losses: the Nets, Wizards, and Kings. The Pacers have 53. The only other team in the vicinity is Utah, with 48 losses. Both the Wizards and Nets are in the midst of long losing streaks, 12 and 13 straight losses, respectively.

I will update this post at the end of the month.
As of the end of March, the Pacers, Wizards, and Nets have 58 losses. The Pacers and Wizards have 7 games to go, the Nets only 6. Those are the bottom three. The Kings have 57 losses with 6 games to go. The closest team to them in terms of losses is Utah, with 55 losses, also with only 6 games remaining.

It’s almost over fortunately.
If I was a betting man and looking at each of the team’s mentioned remaining schedules and their tendencies to throw games, I don’t see Pacers or Jazz winning any additional games. Kings and Wizards will both win at least one more, especially the Kings. The Nets have by far the easiest remaining schedule, including the Pacers, Wizards and Bucks at home.
1. Pacers 2. Wizards. 3. Kings and Nets tie. 5. Jazz

We have one shot to start turning this franchise around and we’re still running out demar to close games out. It’s embarrassing. How did we not trade him for something?

Well, we could stay in 4th and drop, or drop to 5th and jump. Or get number 1 overall and pick a bust. Or end up with a stud at 8.

I'm not gonna get happy or sad until I see how whoever we end up with looks towards the end of next season.

But I swear Precious has given us more wins this season than Deebo haha
