Race to the Bottom thread

Look at the bright side. When we pick 7th all the great prospects will be taken already, so we won’t even have the option to pick the wrong guy. We’ll just be crapshooting at that point; and there’s nothing more Kings than that.

This franchise brings me nothing but joy and I love them for it. <3
7th pick in this year’s draft is still one of Flemings/Wagler/Acuff/Philon

I called this storybook ending months ago. No point in rooting for this team to lose. No matter what thr kangz will rip off 10 meaningless games to close the season and ruin any chance of top pick.

Pacers are kicking Bull's ass. eff yea

It’s almost over fortunately.
If I was a betting man and looking at each of the team’s mentioned remaining schedules and their tendencies to throw games, I don’t see Pacers or Jazz winning any additional games. Kings and Wizards will both win at least one more, especially the Kings. The Nets have by far the easiest remaining schedule, including the Pacers, Wizards and Bucks at home.
1. Pacers 2. Wizards. 3. Kings and Nets tie. 5. Jazz

Pacers finally realizing that their pick is only top 4 protected and the potential embarrassment of losing the #5 pick for Zubac, all of the sudden playing like they care.

I expect they will try to win a couple of more games to get to 3rd worst record, where they still share the most ping pong balls with the bottom 3. The Pacers are truly the worst example of Tanking in the NBA, that franchise should be punished and ashamed of themselves.

Westbrook/monk/7th pick
Lavine/carter
Hunter/nique
Keegan/Max
Sabonis/caldwell

Next year should be fun for those still watching on our way to another 7th pick

If the Kings pick that deep I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the pick moved on draft night. Just looking at the Hunter trade for being what it really looks like, the Kings clearly aren't going into a committed sort of rebuild. They are still toeing the line and with the potential draft changes on the horizon the obvious path is to compete now, not develop a 19 year old. If the Kings get into the top 3 maybe, but not that far back.
