I would agree. Didn’t see this org doing anything right.Out tanking Brooklyn is something no one saw coming. CLUTCH!
Guess you have me blocked. Ive been looking at Brooklyns schedule and saying they can easily leap frog us for awhile.Out tanking Brooklyn is something no one saw coming. CLUTCH!
If Indiana doesn’t jump up in to the top 4, they will lose their pick. Regardless if they have the worst overall record and the #5 pick.Doubt we will catch Pacers or Wiz but rooting for Washington to have the worst record in that case to increase the chances of bumping Indiana out of their first. With the Wiz losing today, I believe only a half game seperate them.
I think it’s just a coin flipWhat happens if we tie the Nets for the 3rd worst record? Because the 3 worst records have the same odds for the lottery.
They coin flip for positioning if nobody wins but actually split their lottery tickets receiving half of the third place share and half of the fourth place IIRC.I think it’s just a coin flip
what im thinking, if teams jump ahead, be it top three bottom records or further back in the lottery wouldn’t Indiana having the second worst record compared to the first worst increase the likelihood they go no better than five and lose their pick.If Indiana doesn’t jump up in to the top 4, they will lose their pick. Regardless if they have the worst overall record and the #5 pick.
Bottom 3 records have the same lotto odds.
The add the 3rd and 4th place odds and split them in half. A coin flip determines position if both teams don’t make top 4.What happens if we tie the Nets for the 3rd worst record? Because the 3 worst records have the same odds for the lottery.
As a diehard member of Team Unethical Tank, I’m all for this. Should have been a month earlier!!!
Yeah it's really nonsensical to wait until last night to do it but I'm glad they did.
As of the end of March, the Pacers, Wizards, and Nets have 58 losses. The Pacers and Wizards have 7 games to go, the Nets only 6. Those are the bottom three. The Kings have 57 losses with 6 games to go. The closest team to them in terms of losses is Utah, with 55 losses, also with only 6 games remaining. As of March 16, three teams have 51 losses: the Nets, Wizards, and Kings. The Pacers have 53. The only other team in the vicinity is Utah, with 48 losses. Both the Wizards and Nets are in the midst of long losing streaks, 12 and 13 straight losses, respectively.
I will update this post at the end of the month.
