R.I.P. to Sacramento Kings Co-owner Joe Benvenuti, who died tonight at the age of 91. He helped bring ‪#nbakings‬ to Sacramento.

I went to high school with this man's grandson.

Also, one of our yearly rituals as a family was driving by the Benveneuti estate at Christmas to see the lights they put up. There were two generations that lived on Crocker Ave. Both were a joy for a kid to see during Christmas.

All this really made the Kings feel like they were our team.

RIP Mr. Benveneuti.
