About Quick GM
Quick GM is a game for experienced NBA fans. You test your GM skills by putting together a team and then that team is placed against other teams. The members will vote on the team that best fullfilled the Positional Requirements that were asked for in that specific game.
Picking your Team
The first thing you want to do is pick a team for the upcoming Game.
1. You go into the "Game #" board. (Games that have already passed will be locked.)
2. Next go into the "Teams" thread.
3. Now create your team. You pick a player for each position. You must follow the Positional Requirements(See example below). Important: You do not win by picking players that are popular, you win by picking a player that fits the Positional requirements the best. You may only pick ONE player from each list given.
Positional Requirements(Example)
Starters
PG-Ball handling,Passing,Shooting
SG-Shooting, Driving ablility, Quickness
SF-Shooting, Defense, and Versatile
PF-Rebounding, Post Scoring, Interior Defense
C-Shot Blocking, Rebounding, Interior Defense
Bench
PG--Ball handling, Passing,Shooting
SG/SF(Swing)-Shooting,Athletic,Versitile
PF/C-Rebounding, Interior Defense, Strength
4. Finally post your roster in that same thread and it will be placed in the appropriate "Game #" Board.
Playing the Game
Now that your team has been created it's time to play. A thread/poll will be created in the Board. The members will vote on the game. The team who best matched the Positional Requirements wins. Important: You as a member must vote on all the games you can. I will periodically check poll resaults to see if you are voting.
How to Vote
When voting on games you must compare each position and see if a player at that position matches all of the Positional Requirements. The GM with the most number of players that met the Positional Requirements should get your vote. Important: This NOT a popularity contest. Example: If the Positional Requirement asks for your SG to "Pass, Good 3pt Shooter and can play PG also" and Team 1 picked Kobe Bryant and Team2 picked Brent Barry, the GM that picked Brent Barry wins the SG position because Brent Berry better fit that Positional Requirement.
