Proposed Trade w Cleveland & New Jersey

From my Thread of What New Players would You Want On the Kings, the name of Anthony Morrow came up the most (twice). So here's my proposed trade (would have to happen after Dec 15th):

From Sacramento:
Anthony Wright SF to Cleveland
Luther Head SG to Cleveland
2011 2nd round draft choice to Cleveland
2012 2nd round draft choice to New Jersey

From Cleveland:
Anthony Parker to New Jersey

From New Jersey:
Anthony Morrow to Sacramento

Why For Sacramento: Get good 3 point SG and still have mucho cap room in summer of 2011.

Why For Cleveland:
Saves approx 2 Million in Lux Tax, gets two serviceable bench players and a 2nd round draft pick for 2011.

Why for NewJersey:
Get experienced SG, reduce payroll by 1.2 million and a 2nd round draft pick for 2012.

If the Kings wanted Anthony Morrow, they could have just signed him this off season. I am one of those who wanted them to do so, but don't see Petrie going to all this trouble to get a player he could have had if he really wanted to sign him.

Its not even that -- the Nets DID want Morrow, and there is no way they are just going to trade him off for peanuts. As part of a Melo trade sure. But when is the last time you saw a team sign a young guy in free agency and then turn around and trade him before he even played a game? Doesn't happen. Nobody is willing to admit they made a mistake that fast, nor do they have anything upon which to base thinking they made a mistake.

The nets are not trading a rotation player they just signed for two end of the bench guys. I would like Morrow on the Kings, but that time is past. Wes Matthews would have been nice in our guard rotation also but the Blazers nabbed him for $$$ http://nbanoise.com/wesley-matthews-signs-with-the-blazers

I'm pretty sure Petrie knows his team needs an upgrade at the two. It may happen at the deadline or he may plan to draft a player for that role in 2011.

Still, you gotta give the OP credit.

1) No Afflalo.
2) If Wright's name were actually Anthony rather than Antoine, it would be the first 3-team trade I know of where each team traded one Anthony for a different one. That alone would make this proposal one of the most interesting things since draft night.

I was one of those that would have liked Morrow on the Kings. But why, prey tell, would the Nets trade a 25 year old SF/SG with great upside, that they went out and signed, for a player 10 years older. That simply makes no sense...

It's the internet. It's not supposed to make sense.
