At this point, the sample size is at nine games even if 7 of those were against summer league level players.

Yep. At some point teams will look for him more because they are just flat out losing him but with Barnes, Fox, and Domas making plays and seeing him this early off of drives it's a great sign. There's too much playmaking, someone is getting open.

It's just preseason but the Kings pretty much just ran one of their biggest competitors for a postseason slot out of the gym for a half.

And they did the same to LA in their last game. I'm biased of course, but I don't see 10 teams in the conference who are leaps and bounds better than the Kings this season... I see 4 or 5 and then a scrum for the rest of the spots. Utah and San Antonio are in full tank mode and I'm not convinced that Minnesota or New Orleans are as good on the court as they appear to be on paper.

Yep. At some point teams will look for him more because they are just flat out losing him but with Barnes, Fox, and Domas making plays and seeing him this early off of drives it's a great sign. There's too much playmaking, someone is getting open.

Great point, Barnes for a non-star is actually great at collapsing the defense too. Feels real nice they're kicking to Murray, Monk and Huerter now. What an upgrade

I'd like to see Okpala get some of these spot looks too. They've kind of switched to more of a pick and roll spread game and I'm sure that will work for him as well. He won't be the shooter Keegan is but he got decent numbers in limited attempts last season.

Man that was fun to watch. I haven’t watched coherent Kings basketball in so long that I am struggling to accept this newfound reality. It’s fun when everything is falling, I am curious to see how the team will do in an “ugly” game.
