of course the Kings comback and now running lead has been mostly against Phoenix scrubs, no Nash, no Grant Hill, etc. This game has gotten to garbage time it appears with Cuz throwing up a 20 footer and bricking it. Next time down he posts and scores - yep that's the ticket!

Actually its there bench. Jeter, JT, Casspi and Cousins are our bench as well for now.

How do you know it wasn't a wide open shot? Is it better to dribble the ball until the defense is set and try to make a play with the clock running low? You can't know the context of the shot by just listening. Some people already mentioned the label thing. Now that some posters have labeled Casspi as selfish, any shot he takes there will be someone who complains about how he forces them up every time.

No matter who we start, we're going to have some bench combo of

Dalembert/Cousins, JT/ LAndry, Whiteside, Greene/Casspi, Jeter, Cisco/Beno.

That's some pretty nice depth

yes, but at start of second half comeback and for most of 3rd 4th quarters it's been our best player Tyreke in there plus starter Beno and some others against almost no one of note for Phoenix - Dudley maybe there most impressive baller, after J-Rich in first half.

Depth off the bench is one of the important aspects of becoming a good team, and we have solid depth. It's a start.

I know that you are a big Omri fan but at this point it's getting ridiculous. Every time someone critiques someone isn't a personal attack against the guy.

That has nothing to do with what I was asking. Yes, I am a fan of Omri, but I am not against criticizing him when he deserves it. In fact, I criticized him myself quite a bit in the second half of the last season. Also, I don't disagree with those who say there are some selfish aspects in his game, and I have previously posted about it and expressed my concern about his mentality. I am, however, against unfair criticism that is based on preconceived notions of the character of a player, without really giving him a chance to prove otherwise. If you look at your own signature, that's my quote there, and it is a good example of how I feel about unfairly labeling and kneejerk-criticizing players in this manner, regardless of whether they come from my home country or not.

Agreed. But I have a feeling we'll be seeing a fair bit of Whiteside this year too.

I was only observing that it was a bad shot. I would have said the same thing about JT, DOnte (oh no!), Tyreke, or freaking Lebron. A bad shot is a bad shot no matter how you paint it.

I'm guessing that he's alternating games featuring Casspi and Donte. My guess is next game Donte will get the majority of minutes.

You do have to remember who you are playing here on the scoring and rebounding numbers, but I'll still take them, especially with us missing a bunch of our size for this one and kinda mysteriously screwing with some more of its head (Donte).

I'll also take this kind of debut for the Reke/Cuz 1/2 punch.

P.S. As an aside Omri had a nice supporting statline of 11pts (50% shooting) 7rebs 4ast. Not sure what the controversy is.

I hope so...IDC who starts Omri or Donte, but both need their share of minutes. A two headed SF monster is what I'm hoping for with these two.

Our second half being more productive than the 1st half. you might not think about it right now but later when you are in bed you will realize how significant that is vs. last season.
