I agree with the Capt that Thomas, Evans, Johnson, Thompson, and Cousins is the likely starting lineup. But I voted for the one I want, and thats Thomas, Evans, Johnson, Robinson, and Cousins. I like the idea of JT coming off the bench to backup Cuz. Plus I'm sure he'll log minutes at PF as well.

I think I like that as well. Last year when Hayes was miserable, it would have made incredible sense to move JT to the bench for the primary backup C role - if we had somebody else to start at PF not named J.J. Didn'tWantToBeHereSon. This year with Hayes playing really well in the preseason I think it's less important to look at JT as the primary C option off the bench. But right now I trust JT's half-court offense more than Robinson's and it might be iffy to run out a frontcourt of Robinson/Hayes for too many minutes, as the scoring would have to come from MT23 and Brooks/Jimmer. I think that would be a very perimeter-oriented lineup and that does argue for Robinson playing minutes with the first unit until his offense comes around.

That's kind of a weird way to look at it, though. "Thomas, we want to you start for now, but once you get better we'll move you to the bench!"

I have a better question. Predict whether our opening night lineup will be the same as our game five lineup.
