Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

For what it's worth at the end of the day, it actually feels pretty damn good to see us included in the top 3 of such a list. Usually, we're top 3 when it comes to middle of the pack players, but to see that someone out there thinks we have the third best odds of landing Trae is something!!!

Off topic, but have you worked for BlackBerry at some point?

Why’s Orlando even on the list they gave up all there picks for Bane and I doubt they’d give up Franz for him. I don’t see Houston going after him as well would mean giving up Reed who they think highly of and is on a rookie deal.

If Perry is keen on trading Carter that bad then packaging Carter with Lavine and a couple firsts for Young should beat out an offer from Brooklyn and Phoenix. Allows us to start Ellis/Keegan again would need to grab a three and D wing and hope Keegan can take the next step to becoming a scorer

don't do it Orlando. they are doing a fine job of establishing a defensive identity and this would neuter them. Stay the course, continue to develop Paolo and Franz and then eventually upgrade Franz when the opportunity strikes to get over the hump and contend.

Trae Young has always had supporting casts (defense , Length, shooting, good around the rim bigs)any other elite player would carry deep in the East and he's missing the playoffs getting bullied by Davion Mitchell in the play in.

Maybe the most overrated player of this generation I would stay far away from him

No, that would be Bronny

I may be the only one, Sabonis is an All-Star in his prime and these guys are both just starting their NBA careers, but I absolutely make that trade as the Kings.

We'd be getting 20 year old Ron Holland II and 21 year old Jalen Duren -- both of whom are plus defenders. Tobias Harris is on an expiring contract so that clears the bulk of Sabonis' salary off our salary cap next summer. And they're giving us 2 first round picks too? That's a massive bail out deal for the mess we're in now. It opens up a path to signing Kuminga as an UFA next summer if GS continues to play hard ball and suddenly we'd have a super young team that is loaded with quality wings, actually has a chance to be pretty good on defense, and has the future draft capital to trade up in 2026 or 2027 if the right PG is there for the taking.
