Guess it's about time to say goodbye to my Christmas desktop.

I don't mean to sound like an ***, but why do so many of you have so much **** on your desktops?

I just spent a week at my mother's for the holidays and using her computer made me nuts because the desktop has a total of about two square inches not covered with icons. Searching through that everytime you want to open a program cannot possibly be quicker or easier than using the start menu.

If it has anything to do with the "things" you've been downloading, and that have been causing your computer to crash, I'd suspect you're correct.

my desktop background is a picture called 'flowers in the attic' by jason byron nelson. its an excellent example of proper appropriation in modern art. not to mention its just a sweet picture...
