Possible Trades

Aenadin

Starter
Sac-UTAH Trade

Out
Salmons
Douby

In
Ronnie Brewer
Matt harpring

Utah Gets Salmons a versatile wing player they can play on the 2 provide that 19 ppg of his while douby brings in shooting and scoring of their bench

we get ronnie brewer and a proven vet in harpring... perfect for rebuilding

point Difference would be

Jazz will be getting
24 ppg combined from douby and Salmons

we get
16ppg combined from harpring and Brewer

if Boozer enters the FA next year im guessing this will be the WIN now mode for sloan..... and i think they are already in the competing mode and over the rebuilding might as well take one of their young ones

I'm so sorry, but I don't get it.

You want to get rid of Salmons and Douby in exchange for an aging small forward Matt Harping and another mediocre shooting guard by the name of Ronnie Brewer.

If we get granpa Harping which you say is a proven vet and you intend to play him as small forward, where will that leave Garcia and the development of Greene?

Also, you get rid of Salmons who is a lot better than Ronnie Brewer right now. Do we really need to get rid of a mediocre Salmons, just so we can get another mediocre talent in Brewer?

Can you elaborate further how this trade will benefit the Kings?

I am getting intrigued and excited, because frankly I want to get rid of Salmons to pave the way for the development of Greene - but not to the extent that we'll just get anyone of lesser value to the team.

we get granpa harpring just for the sake of his contract... its much shorter than salmons by a year which can play with the FA we dont actually play him regularly at all

ronnie brewer has been averaging 2 spg this season he can come off the bench for martin basically he will be our guy with the busy hands harassing the other guy...which leaves the 3 up for grabs for Garcia and Greene

if memory serves me right harpring is known for his toughness and is a decent defender? perhaps he can mentor?

the only reason we will get vets now is for two reasons
1. Stacking up contracts for big FA moves
2. Some one to mentor the young ones

the only fear i have with salmons is that when martin comes back he might become a vacuum in offense rather than be that 2nd option

line up would be

Udrih/Brown/Jackson
Martin/Brewer
Greene/Garcia
Thompson/Moore/Williams
Hawes/Brad
