Tony Allen isn't very good. I wouldn't even trade Jimmer for him much less Jimmer and a pick.

Yes but he's also pretty worthless on offense, which takes his value down for me. I think he'd be a nice addition but I don't know if I'd want him as a starter and i wouldn't give up too much to get him. Maybe something like Hickson and lottery protected 2013 pick.

Thats why i started another thread on trading for Sam young! he's not as good as tony allen, but he is a similar type of player and would be easier to acquire b/c he isnt happy with his minutes right now. But i totally agree that we need a lockdown defense player in either a sg, sf, or both either to start or come off the bench. We will always be a poor defensive team if we dont acquire 1 or 2 of these types of players. Every contending team has them
