I think the easiest to pry of those four PGs listed in Jarrett Jack, and he's a pretty nice talent. He's sort of straddling the line between starting caliber and top bench player, but he has more than enough height, shooting and playmaking ability to suffice as temporary starting PG, and once Bibby comes back he should become a wonderful asset for us, if all goes well. Another thing he brings? Stability--he's only about 24, but he plays like a wily veteran. Brings solid all-around defense and potentially tough in-your-face defense with nice height and core strength for a PG (although he lacks speed to guard the quicker guards), can shoot the ball well from mid-range, decent from three and can get to the line (although he's not remarkably proficient in all of those areas), and can pass the ball with solid, but not excellent, court vision. He's really a solid guy, who may never become a superstar by any stretch, but a very good glue guy.
It seems that Portland's infatuation with Sergio Rodriguez and their signing of Steve Blake puts, perhaps, Jarrett Jack in the doghouse; sort of like the Luke Ridnour situation, he probably may get relegated from starters' role last year to bench role this year, unless, of course, he's traded. Taurean Green lacks enough height and general talent to fit our team, he's probably worse than another guy we've talked about (Dee Brown, who signed with Turkey). So, I'd really go for Jack.
