Scot Pollard doesn't expect to get any calls from NBA teams prior to the upcoming season. "I don't think an (NBA) offer will come. I'm probably done," Pollard told the Lawrence Journal. Pollard, 34, last played in the NBA with the Celtics in 2008. "I will not hold a press conference to say I'm retired," added Pollard. "(But) the fact I didn't hear from more than a couple teams last year ... I don't think it'll happen this year." The veteran forward/center recently accepted an invitation to play in a pair of exhibitions against his former teammate Vlade Divac's Club Partizan team.

He was never the best on the court at any given time but the thing that I loved about him is that you could never doubt his heart and hustle every minute he was on the floor. I know alot of people are hoping Brockman can fill the role of scrappy hustle guy like Pollard was to our Kings and we can only hope to be so lucky.
