Lavine isn't going anywhere. Is Salary will absolutely not allow it.

Monk. Derozen, are our two men i want out. Monk doesn't care enough. How do you laugh on the bench while your tram down 20.
Just keep Keegan/Keon/Devin/the two way guys and start fresh. That’s a very good defensive foundation that could slot a young star in very nicely if we draft well/get lottery luck.

I guess I was more justifying my point than answering your question. Haha

Roger that.

I will say, i appreciate them not getting my hopes up lol OKC would have been torture and record breaking losses IMO. Gotta use the offseason to just find better pieces that fit and get healthy for the ones that are sticking around

Vivek needs to sell the team. We’ll never win with this f’ing nerd running things. He’s got his finger on the scale of everything and he doesn’t know a damn thing about building a winner.

It’s either that or trading everyone for Zion. Those are the only options.

If we don’t tank what move besides Zion gets us better? Who gives a **** if he gets hurt then we’d get a good pick anyways what’s the alternative build around Sabonis and watch him come up small as we pick 13-15 for the next half decade

Not so ready to ditch or get rid of Sabonis though. This has been a very strange season but i do think a healthy Sabonis could have had us in the mix for 7/8. I just would hate to see us trade him away without trying to put one more good team around him - and a better one that actually fits. If this team can go from how horrible we were before the first beam team year to what we got in 2022-23, then they can do it again.

We have no one worth trading Zion for.

Good luck trying to make a billionaire with no history of scandal give up his toy when he doesn't want to. Hell, it takes something like 27 other owners to make one sell when they're actually evil.

I still think that Monk cares, this is just his personality. He likes to keep things light. We loved that about him when the Kings were winning.

Positives from the back end of this season:
1- We finally have extra draft capital in the first round.
2- Devin Carter can be really freaking good at this level. (Faint praise but he was probably our third best player tonight)
3- the random Lavine heaters were really fun.
4- Keon sorta played himself back into smart contract range rather than “have some team give you a huge KCP contract” range.
5- Keegan remembered how to shoot and continues to show he can guard 1-5 at the NBA level.
6- the season is finally over.
