Keegan’s inability to become an offensive force might be the one thing that forever sank the Beam Team from having any staying power. We “ran it back” on the belief he was a star and it just never happened.

I don't disagree but this is very much a hindsight is 20/20 thing, which somehow makes it more frustrating because Keegan had us all thinking he was giant Klay after his rookie season!

Honestly, I'm still kind of flabbergasted by his lack of development on offense. He still has those random flashes of dominance too. This is why I'm curious to see him as a 1st option if we go rebuild.

Keegan also probably develops more of his offensive game in a situation where he’s not asked to be the 5th option either. And then Kings fans would immediately enter “Why the hell did we trade him?” Mode.

Purple colored glasses, but the benefit of him being older coming in is that Iowa game is still in there somewhere so if and WHEN the Kings rebuild there could be some extra productivity ready to bust out. Superstar talent? Probably not, but maybe an 18-20 a night guy.

This is fair, for sure, but I still say you had to find out. If a player shows what Murray showed his rookie season and you trade him that quickly, you better be right.
I don’t disagree….trading Keegan after his first two years for anything less than a package for a superstar would have gotten pitchforks out for Monte. It was a bet I thought would payoff. But his inability to go to the next level just killed our hopes.

Be interested to see how he'd look playing for a coach with a track record for developing guys, like Daigneault or Spoelstra?

Being a Kings fan should be a crime. The amount of Mental Abuse we go through should be outlawed.

This game everyone said we would win. And at that moment, I knew we was going to lose smh

I don't think he has the personality to be a #1 option, but it would good to see what he could do as a #2 or 3, instead of a 5th

To be fair, guys having absolutely no clue how much time is left on the clock has been a running theme of this team going back to the start of the season.

Bro. Honestly I’m tired of the low IQ stuff. Let’s sign CP3 as our starting PG to get guys organized and in the right spots at all times.
