People will answer calls from Jerry Reynolds. He's kinda cute and cuddly, like a big panda bear. They see his name on their caller ID and they don't break out in a cold sweat. When he has them lulled into a false sense of security, he hands the phone to "the finisher."

Jerry's actually one of our top scouts, and yes Darko is bigger and has quite the NBA body now.

Pretty sure he's not on their Summer League roster. pretty established player.

Nene isn't playing in the summer league. I'm not even sure he's back in the states. He was in Brazil last I heard.

I'm guessing Petrie is doing what most GMs do at summer league games, looking for guys that might not make another squad but could be an 11th or 12th man for their squad.

How this summer league works (roster wise)? I don't see any role players in summer league. Is it for younger players and rookies to develop and show up for GM/scouts? Can someone be picked up from summer league even he's not drafted?

yes and yes. Sometimes teams will ask their young unpolished guys to play summer league, but they don't always agree to go. Otherwise, mostly for draft picks and young undrafted type guys trying to catch somebody's eye and get a training camp invite.

No, House was already an established player in the NBA. The Kings got him because Charlotte cut him a few games into the season, making him a free agent.
