vj, sadly there team record is better this year after x number of games then last year, I guess he really isn't that missed. I don't know if we can say the same this year. Will see though.

Yup, w/Nash we were 33-20 at this point last year. Without Nash we are 37-16 at the same point this year.
And something tells me we are going to win more than 1 playoff game, just call it a hunch.

Well nothing has disproved it over the last 3 years in the playoffs. The only year we lose to you Webber goes down. Maybe this year you'll get us, will see. Last year you were 3-1 against in the regular season yet I remember a 4-1 playoff "romp. Will see, with Webber I was confident we could beat you. We have yet to see the new team......will see though, series is always interesting, and your on a kings board of course were going to say were going to beat you, your our biggest rival now right? this week, rivalry week, there is no Lakers-Kings........weird.

I am not here to flame with you guys. I knew there was no way that we could beat you guys last year, we just weren't very good.
These two teams are completely different now, only Bibby, Peja, Dirk, and Finley really exist from the "old" days (unless Bobby is back or if you count Shawn Bradley as an actual NBA player). Should be interesting, not trying to flame, I just think we are better than we have been since 1988.
Really don't have a feel for where you guys are going, haven't seen your new team together yet.

As an aside, the Mavs are a beatable opponent for us, but the reasons they couldn't handle us in years past are gone now and they could very well beat us if we meet. I'll be happy to see such a meeting though -- would mean that we held on to the 4th/5th spot and played some pretty good ball down the stretch.

I honestly thought you were the better team last year and would beat us in the playoffs, and you did. I honestly feel we are the better team this year and will beat you in the playoffs, only time will tell. That is just being honest, I am not saying you guys suck, I just think you are going through a reloading/rebranding year like we went through last year. If that is flaming/trolling, sorry, I view it as me being honest. It isn't like you guys are .500 and falling apart, you got younger and it will grow together.
I don't think it was a dirty pick, this is the NBA, not the WNBA. Devin will be tougher because of it, it is part of growing up in the NBA. I guess those are my 80s NBA roots showing, physical play is a part of this league to me.

Only year you were competitive and beat us was when you had Van Exel play out of his head.......Last time I looked you had neither Nash or Van Exel so I'm not too scared.

Still some sore feelings post trade and we're still sorting through the new pecking order here. I'm not ready to conced the Mavs are a better team until we see what happens in the playoffs, but its certainly a possibility now. Our eternal edge vs. the Mavs was always our inside play.

I would rather be 6th especially if spurs are 1st. I like our chances better trough Suns and Sonics. More important is that everybody is healthy ( Bobby too) and that we are somewhat in sync.
