18 freethrows is absolutely ridiculous. I used to dream of a world where Fox or Sabonis could even get half SMH
It’s so absurd and blatant.

Steph and Butler shot a combined 31 free throws last night, which would be good for 1st in the league if looking at TEAM free throw attempts per game. 2nd place would be Denver at just 23.3.

I saw a stat that Memphis gives up an average of just 18 opponent free throw attempts per game.

Pretty wild in a game decided by 5 points…

I know. I actually timed a replay on a stopwatch and exactly at 5 seconds, the ball was coming out of his hands.

Normally, tie goes to the inbounder, but I guess not when a trip to the playoffs for the Warriors is on the line
They usual don’t even call it unless it’s completely obvious just like three in the key. GSW had a five second that should’ve been called like five possessions earlier

@Capt. Factorial am I looking at the standings/tie breakers right?

I’m thinking if the Heat beat the Hawks and the Mavs beat the Grizzlies on Friday, we would slip to the 12th position? And barring any crazy lottery luck from the teams in the 13th or 14th position, we’d keep our pick this year? Is that your understanding as well?

We would be tied with the Hawks for 12th/13th in that situation, so we would still need a coin flip to get 12th. Lottery tie-breaker is a coin flip, it's not based on head-to-heads or anything.

Miami looking pretty good. They could also beat Atlanta.

Ticks me off that Mitchell is playing effective post season minutes for an organization like the Miami Heat and the Kings dumped him for so little
Davion Mitchell stans unite! I can't be the only one, right?

Yeah- 3 things need to happen to be placed 12th, pre-lottery:

1) Heat beat Hawks
2) Mavs beat Grizz
3) we win coin flip with Hawks

If all three of those happen we go into the lottery with our pick at 12th, and keep our pick unless the Grizz or Hawks jump us in the lottery. If any of those things don't happen, then we only keep our pick if we move into the top 4.

So your saying we get the #1 pick and don't take cooper flagg.

So tankathon still has us at 14 and Dallas at 12 even though they beat us.

I had originally thought the play in would affect the seeding as it would if you make the playoffs but apparently not. Doesn’t seem fair

So I believe our prayer of keeping our pick is for Miami to hang on and eliminate ATL and for Dallas to beat Memphis.

Then i guess it would be a coin toss between us and Atlanta?

EDIT: I see this has been discussed and it appears that’s the scenario

Well, Hawks seem determined to kill all hope as quickly as possible.

Cant even make a night out of clinging on to the slim chance we get our pick
