Highly unlikely but could be very interesting
Martin/Thomas/Udrih/May for Igoudala/Dalembert
For the Sixers:
They will rid of the 2nd and 3rd biggest contracts on payroll who doesn't seem to click with their highest paid player (Brand)
So, they will get a 20pt scorer per night in Martin, who have good outside shot and who might be a better compliment to Brand than Iggy.
Udrih will be a serviceable PG if he's not going to be their starting PG. He can also shoot from the perimeter and as well penetrate.
May will preserve bulk down low if they won't cut him
Thomas will give them salary cap for next season and KT will end his career in the city that actually appreciated him when he was still playing with AI. Like AI, he might win back a few more crowds.
Philly's lineup
C- Speights/Smith/Brezec
PF - Brand/Young/Thomas/May
SF - Young/Kapono/Carney
SG - Martin/William/Iverson
PG - Udrih/HolidayIverson
With Eddie Jordan at the helm, Udrih and Martin should flourish in this team.
For the Kings:
C - Dalembert/Hawes/Thompson
PF - Thompson/Nocioni/Hawes
SF - Casspi/Greene/Nocioni
SG - Igoudala/Garcia/Udoka
PG - Evans/Rodriguez
Pairing Iggy with Tyreke may not be too ideal since both does not have reliable perimeter shot. But pair Sergio with Iggy and were gonna have hundreds of alley-oops the whole season. Then pair Garcia with Tyreke to compensate perimeter and ball-handling.
Plus, with Dalembert down low, I don't think a lot of team will party there like they used to have. We may not manage to make playoff run with this being too late. Or we may not have the luxury of FA pickup by trading Thomas. But the Kings will surely look forward to a much better season. And we can easily draft another big (PF/C) in this draft to beef up front next season. And BAM, playoffs in 2011. Once Dalembert expires, then we can add another big FA the season after that. And party continues.
