I'm glad that Pedja's doing very well. I knew I could trust on Pedja coming back!

GO PEDJA! Keep it up! :)

We'll see what happens this postseason -- Peja's pattern is he is great against the bad teams. Then gets punked by the tough defensive squads and elite SF defenders. Unfortuantely, of course, those are exactly the teams and players you have to overcome in the postseason. Can he drop 35 on Bowen? Can he even drop 25? that's the relevant question. He played great tonight. But we have 7 years of evidence stacked up that that is no real indication of how he will play when faced with elite defensive squads.

And yes, the answers we get in the postseason will very much influence wheter he has to go or not. A regular season performer is worthless to us unless all we care about is looking pretty.

P.S. As an aside, QD you don't recover from TDS by shooting well. TDS isn't about shooting. Its about everything else that happens out there, and how you react when challenged. We'll see.

Interesting that you would reply to a post baiting Pedja "haters". ;)

The way I see it, you have no business representing Pedja haters, since you seem to have the highest opinion/standard reserved for Pedja. I probably expect just 75% of what you expect from Pedja, so yes if he has either a great scoring game or a great defensive/other game I am happy. But I will agree with you on one thing: If Pedja puts scoring and hustle together in this playoff, our future prospects will be greatly improved. Then, and only then, we will have only a hole or two to plug in our line up. Right now, we're merely a work in progress - albeit a good work in progress.

You heard it here first people, Brick is covert Pedja booster. If we were all to see the same Pedja that Brick does, we would all expect 25-7-5 on average (more in play offs) from Pedja. :)

P.S. This is not a criticism of Brick or Pedja critics, on the contrary - I must agree with Brick. I just thought I spotted interesting pattern here, but I could be wrong.

EDIT: I toned down usage of word "hater". Mostly, there are no real haters among Kings fans, just different degrees of player-fans.

There IS a lot about Pedja's recent paly to be pleased with. He is husteling, hence the improved rebounding, steals and yes shots in the paint. He is moving well with out the ball, and passing better than in the past. It is easy to get excited when he puts up 35 points, but the truth is that when the Kings put up jumper after jumper they get EASIER to defend/beat. I will not attribute any motives to Pedjas more rounded paly but it DOES make me happy. Not sure I saw any HARD fouls from Pedaj but I like seeing him play more physical than he has been... but I wnat MORE.

BTW I agree that Pedja is capible of 20-7-5 a game and that is the standard I'll hold him to!

Well, bozzwell, I happen to think you are very astute. People who think Bricklayer is a Pedja "hater" just don't know him well at all.

Bricklayer, and many others, do not hate Pedja at all. They just want to see him play to his potential. When he does that, he is an elite player. BTW - count me among the "they".

In a way, that makes you bigger Pedja fan then I am. I just don't want him to mope around like did first 3 qrts. of the season and play team ball to get easy scores/shots. If Pedja was to listen to me, he'd remain to be 7 mil player, ideally suited for 2nd or 3rd option. According to "you" (collective you as in Brick, you etc.) he can be max contract player if he really applies himself and become more aggressive (in adition to what he can already do).

I think that if everyone paused and thought about that, we would have much less Pedja hating/boosting discourse (not to say flamewars) around here.

You know I almost always agree with you. I like how you sneaked in HARD fouls into discussion. ;)

I dont realy care that much abouth Bibby shooting,i just want to see 10 + assist per game from him, that is realy matter.

Oh please. We will need ALL our shooters to do well in the playoffs. One person cannot carry the load alone. IF we can have Peja, Bibby and Cat all hitting their shots at the same time, then the playoffs will take on a whole new look...

GO KINGS - ALL of them!!!!!

I consider Artest's Cd's a "hazardous waste" on the borderline of weppons of mass destruction

If you hung a Lynard Skynard CD with "Freebird" prominently highlighted, would the birds flying by it read that and become lost in existential confusion, wondering "Am I really free?"

Ofcourse i dont think also that ONE person can lead the Kings in shooting, whole team need to be on fire but i want from Bibby to lead this team with his assistens,if Bibbys shot enter the barn(leastways with 42-45%) thats even better. To me his assistens and leading the ball is a priori. :o
